Quickstart
Go from signing up to reading your first AI visibility results. You'll create a project, review the brand profile, choose the questions your customers ask, and let AppearIn seed the first run across the connected AI engines.
What you need
A brand or company website. During the current beta, billing is not active and every signed-in user can create projects within the in-app usage limits.Set up your first project
Create a project for your brand
From the dashboard, choose Add brand and paste your website URL. AppearIn AI reads your site to learn what you sell, who your competitors are likely to be, and how your brand name appears in writing. This becomes your brand profile.
Review the brand profile
Confirm the brand name, common variations (for example "AppearIn" and "Appear In AI"), and the competitors we detected. Accurate variations matter, they're how we tell when an answer is really talking about you.
Add your prompts
Add the questions a real customer would ask an assistant, like "best tools to track brand mentions in ChatGPT". Start with five to ten. AppearIn AI also suggests prompts based on your brand profile, so you can accept those instead of writing your own.
Finish setup
Finish onboarding. AppearIn AI saves your topics, prompts, and competitors, then starts a background seed run for the first prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. You can go straight to the dashboard while results stream in.
Read your results
You'll see organic Share of Voice, mention rate, citation rate, competitor standings, and a per-engine breakdown. Each answer is saved so you can read exactly what the engine said.
One run is a snapshot, not a trend
AI answers vary slightly each time they're generated. A single run tells you what happened today; the value comes from tracking the same prompts on a schedule and watching the line move. Keep recurring runs on to build that history.
